She is the 16th Contestant to enter into Bigg Boss house season 3, this show hosted by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and aired in Star Vijay television. She is the wild card entry on the second day of the show.
Meera Mitun was born and brought up in Chennai. She did her schooling in Maharishi Vidhya Mandir High School and later graduated bachelors in microbiology from Ethiraj College for Women further pursued masters in biotechnology from SRM University.
