Simran Bagga is also known as Rishibama Naval born on 4 April 1976 is an Indian film actress and model. She has predominantly appeared in Tamil, Telugu and very few Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada films. She is considered to be one of the most versatile actresses in Indian cinema.

Simran was born in Maharashtra and spent most of her childhood there. she accepted offers to join the Indian film industry in the mid-1990’s. Simran made her debut in the Hindi film Sanam Harjai (Released in 1995) directed by Saawan. It was happened to be the first Indian film to be shot in New Zealand and Simran stayed and shot abroad for three months, although the movie flopped in the box office later.
she debuted in Kollywood industry (Tamil) through V. I. P and was followed by an eventful of commercial successes in the early stages of her career. In the year 1999, Simran received critical praise for playing a blind woman in Thulladha Manamum Thullum. However, the turning point of her career came with the success of Vaali in the same year which made Simran the most successful actress in the industry. At the peak of her career, she agreed to play the character of an antagonist in Parthen Rasithen and a suffering woman from a premarital agreement in Priyamanavale, both went on to become a huge commercial success.
Simran married Deepak Bagga (Her childhood family friend) on December 2, 2003. They have two sons, Adheep and Aadit. After her marriage, Simran took a break from acting in the feature films and shifted her goal on to the small screen where she acted in numerous Tamil TV shows. she also went on to host Jackpot, a game show on Jaya TV which was earlier hosted by Kushboo. She also was seen in few mega films post marriage like Varanam Aayiram, Trisha Illana Nayanthara, Thupparivalan, Seemaraja, etc…. But the big breakthrough of her career must be she is playing an important role in a direction of Karthik Subbaraj’s film Petta where she is pairing with Superstar Rajinikanth as a lead.
